Didn't really know that Lou Reed had made anything this vibrant after the 70s! Lyrics are so so, but his delivery is cool, and the music ranges from cool to extremely cool.

Bonus points for being massively influential! Sounds a bit like faster, meaner Sex Pistols to my 2024 ears more than it sounds like what I associate with hardcore

Still not totally clear on what it is he wants to legalize, but the music is very catchy

Blows my mind a bit that anyone made new wave that sounded this fully formed in 1978. Just great post-punk tunes with synths that don't sound out of place.
