Sounds pretty juvenile now (maybe because I was a tiny lil baby when it came out) but huge musical statement tbh

Yes it's a bit pretentious but I just can't get enough of this record

Pretty uneven, I don't think this is really the right style for Idles

I liked them better before they turned all political and stuff

Good coding music, enjoyable and slow, not particularly mindblowing

I agree with Rasmus [2 days ago] that Modern Vampires of the City is still their masterpiece, but man this is so good, we didn't deserve this

I like a lot of these tunes! The production is their least interesting though, and it's a bit messy overall

Great beats! I knew more of the tunes going in than I'd expected

She's a good rapper, and there are some really nice beats here and there!

This record really said "fuck genres". Probably still their Masterpiece.

These tunes are pretty much all bangers, but I still haven't fully warmed up to the switch to synthesizer-heavy production (even if it results in some really cool moments)

Fun sexy time! Not a lot of tunes I knew already and not a lot that really stood out, but it's just a very smooth way to spend 70 minutes.

Seriously gorgeous record, I can remember few other artists who have sounded so comfortable on their debuts

Still rocks today! Seriously wondering if this is a Five Star Album™ just the day after release

Very groovy, and there are a couple of all time classics on here.

The early singles weren't kidding, I think Vampire Weekend might have made (another) classic. Perhaps the best they've ever sounded, and first impression is that all tunes are just very good. Look forward to revisiting this MANY times in the near future.
